Greta food, great service, at a great price
First time there, fried chicken and fried pork chops were excellent … but wait, there’s more! The desserts were all homemade and excellent!! Banana pudding was just amazing! Need to go back to try other items.
My favorite spot to eat throughout all of the south. Am from Warner Robins but would work in Cochran sometimes and lunch at sugarberrys is a must. I have moved to Florida now but I still tell people about this place. The recipe for the baked chicken should be put in a time capsule in case something happens to us. There baked chicken is the next best thing to Jesus rising on the third day fulfilling the scriptures
The food was absolutely amazing each very flavorful. The cherry cobbler was the best cobbler I have ever had. The peach one was also great.
They have grandma’s county cooking down to a science! Two of our party have dietary restrictions & they didn’t have a problem finding tasty entrees. They could improve on road signage, but there were plenty of customers as it is.

In and out for lunch. Terrific food fresh and hot, grams sweet tea delicious. Priced right for fresh, hot tasty vittles to complete the day.
At first glance it doesnt seem like much, but once you take that first bite or that first sip of sweet tea you'll change your mind. The food was delicious, the service impecable, and the atmosphere is that of a homey vibe. As I sat and watched the locals eat, I could tell that this place is near and dear to them and I could feel that love emanating through the air and in the food that they serve their customers. All in all I highly recommend and I will definitely be coming back.
